Ant Refactoring

by admin on January 17, 2010

Ant isn’t what the hip kids are using right now. But what if you have a hairball of it? Do you rip it out and replace it with something that is of the moment, like Buildr, or Gradle? Do you want to mess up your project while you do it? Or do you try and sort it out, a little bit at a time?

gradle can consume an existing ant script, so it would be pretty easy to refactor and continue support until you’re ready to roll out a brand new gradle build.
