Description
Brand.net is looking for an experienced Sr. Devops Engineer to test internal libraries and tools and assist in development of our ad serving and reporting platforms. Experience in the advertising industry is a plus.
Required Experience/Skills:
* Strong Unix/Linux system administration skill set.
* Expert unix shell scripting (bash, csh, ksh + all).
* Experienced with large scale automation and monitoring.
* Understanding of network topography.
* Required knowledge of TCP/IP and networking programming.
* Required knowledge of virtual and cloud computing (Vmware/Xen).
* Familiar with system clustering at the application level.
* Nice to have middleware, BI experience, specifically Microstrategy.
* Bachelor's or Master's degree.
* Minimum 5 years experience Unix/Linux.
* Big plus C/C++ or Java.
* Big plus Hadoop experience.
* Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
